I love Brocki 2
Ok, I really had a shit week. So I compensate. I just found these treassures at the brocki that is just a few minutes walk from the studio. I paid 12 CHF, 7,5 € for all, no sheet of paper used, almost new crayons, a small poem book and…!! The laundry basket is the most beautiful plastic laundry basket i have ever seen, honestly. On the back it says: Design Luigi Colani. I really don’t need this plastic basket but it makes me just happy looking at it - thank you, Luigi!!!

I bought it at a second hand furniture store in Zürich. On the back it says:
SULO
Art-Nr. 045165
Design Luigi Colani
I did not find anything on the web about it, so if you know more, please let me know!

My mom had one of these that she bought in the early 70’s.
I looked on ebay for one of these for the longest time and after five years one finally came up for sale.
It ended up selling for over $150.00!! needless to say I am still looking for one.

Wow, i did not know these would sell for so much! I still love my laundry basket and wouldn’t sell it though. I use it for the small parcels i bring to the post office every day and i call it “my outbox” - it brightens my office :)

Yes,I was surprised it brought that much as well,but they are a famous designer piece and apparently quite rare being nearly 40 years old now.
This was several years back I had seen that one on ebay and havent seen another since.Colanis elephants bring around $100 now too.
